Chemistry Resources
Chemistry Regents Review - a list of helpful links. Lots of info. No need for me to duplicate. Check it out! Not restricted to Regents students - good for AP Chemistry as well!
Mr. Mackey's Chemistry - AP Chemistry podcasts. Follows Zumdahl. Good explanations and worked out examples and calculations.
Aaron Glimme's Learn AP Chemistry - AP Chem problem of the day by email, video lectures - really good stuff. Lecture setting - nothing slick, but you will learn and understand. Updated for the new AP test. Details problem solving.
Bozeman Science - short, clear videos on all the major concepts updated for the revised AP Chemistry test. Excellent for conceptual understanding!
Crash Course - I love this! Hank Green teaches you chemistry - with humor. Fast paced, 10-12 min videos on specific topics. Must see. Better for conceptual understanding than for calculations.
ChemWiki: The Dynamic Chemistry Textbook. Open access, growing, online textbook from UC Davis. Concept presentation, textbook style, followed by questions, including explanations. Need to look something up? Try their search box, but you may have to choose "ALL PAGES" if it's something specific.
Supercharged Science. Homeschool science curriculum. I've heard great things about this program by Rocket Scientist, pilot, mom and homeschooler Aurora Lipper. Heavier on the physics than the other science branches, it is hands-on for the student, and easy for you. K-12 options. Here is Cathy Duffy's Review. Alternate website for Supercharged Science.
